Hello all! This is the Tillery family blog and I am Brandy.I will be doing this blogging thing for the family. Here it is on Sunday,October 11,2009. We just returned from a trip to Birmingham,Alabama to see my uncle marry his Russian bride yesterday. What an awesome day it was.It was something unique to see a couple so in love to get married Russian Orthodox style.I myself just like the ol' American Traditional style. The kids had a ball.Well anyway David and I have 4 children together. My four youngest.Which are Brandy Nicole,Jerry O'Neil,Teula Lucille and SeGlinde' Michaela. My oldest daughter is Donna Jo.She considers David to be her daddy because her biological daddy isn't in her life right now and hasn't been for quite some time. Her biological dad,Joey Trainor (some of you know him as Joey Webb) and I went to school together and a couple years out of high school we met up again and I ended up pregnant with our first child,Donna.Never a regret to me but wished things could have been a little different. But I truly believe everything happens for a reason.God has really blessed me with the kids I have.I do have my tubes tied now.(Thank you,Jesus!) I am 31 1/2 years old and my husband is 37 1/2 years old.I was previously married for a few years to Scott Dewayne Morris,38 yrs.old.No children were conceived from that marriage.I was 18 yrs. old when I married him,he was 25.Two years later we were seperated and that is when I met back up with Joey and I had DJ (short for Donna Jo) when I was 21 yrs.old.Mr.Trainor and I split up right before DJ was born.I went back out into the dating world when DJ was just 4 months old.I then met my now husband on a chat line.I believe we were meant to be.He left me a message on my mailbox on one chat line but before we knew that we were already talking through another chatline. We decided a time and a place to meet up and it went from there. We did split up for a short time.I was 2 months pregnant with our first child then.He was not there for her birth.I was 22 yrs.old when I had Nikki (short for Nicole~to keep the confusion down with both our names). I went back to Joey during my pregnancy with Nikki. He was there in the hospital when she was born.I went into cardiac and respiratory arrest after Nikki was born.My doctors' brought me back with the crash cart. Then 2 years went by and I found out I was pregnant with with our son Jerry. I was with my husband after Joey and I split up (a few months after Nikki was born). My husband and I lived in St.Mary's, Georgia for a few months before deciding to move back to Alabama. We were homeless when I found out we were pregnant with our son. I was 25 when he was born. My 4th daughter,Lucy was born three years later. She was such a surprise to us because at this time we were facing a lot of stuff in life and I was taking birth control when I got pregnant with her because I had previously miscarried a few months prior so doctor wanted to dry me up after having a DNC.We were not homeless at this time.We decided to move to Michigan to have her.I then starting having complications after having her a few days later and wound up back in the hospital again for the weekend while my daughter was at home.According to doctors' the placenta was still left in me.My veins were not good at this time so they had to put an IV in my neck after me begging them not to and me jerking it out twice on my right side and once on my left side.I was 28 yrs.old when Lucy (shortened from Lucille)was born.We then decided to move down to Gulf Shores,Alabama to live with some friends of ours due to us struggling financially. Teddy and Julie Campbell helped pull us out of our rut.I was scheduled to have my tubes tied but then discovered in the emergency room (I was really bad sick) that I was pregnant AGAIN with our youngest daughter,Michaela (who is named after my brother-in-law, Michael (he committed suicide 2 years ago a day before Father's Day) and my father-in-law (he passed away 3 years ago in August).I didn't have very many prenatal visits so we didn't know what the sex was until I had her via C-section.Prior to this I signed a paper to have my tubes tied and my OB doctor told me due to my weight it might be a greater risks tying my tubes unless I was to have a C-section which would also complicate things as well.Doctors don't do C-sections on women as big as me because it posed as high risk move especially with my heart being enlarged and a prior heart attack. So I went in to have an induction because she was late (as ALL my babies were by 2 weeks) and something in my blood work that day at the doctor's office wasn't right, low and behold right before they gave me the pitocin, doctor decides (while they were poking on me to give me the pitocin, like I said earlier I don't have very good veins) to get a picture of the baby to make sure everything was looking good and discovers she is Breach.Well he said I then had to have a C-section that having her vaginally was not an option nor waiting for her to turn or him trying to turn her.So he finds out that the only time he would be able to have a whole bunch of nurses and other doctors to assist with this high risk move is the next morning at 7 a.m. to which he did bring in a very well known and THE VERY BEST plastic surgeon from Canada to make sure there were no complications after words and that I would be sewn up right.I was 29 yrs.old when Michaela (see a pattern here with the middle names??)was born.I am a bit scared at this point because I have not ever had to have a C-section with any of my 4 older children, but I had put my Faith in God.The doctor then told me that he could at this time do my tube tying. So I feel as though this surely was a sign from God that she would be my last. God was right there saying to me "Look,I gave you five babies that is all I think you can handle." LOL God was gonna make sure He protected me from anything else that might happen to me because of pregnancy related health issues.WHAT A BLESSING HE HAS GIVEN TO ME AND MY HUSBAND!!! No regrets here even though it sure made my family very mad each time I found out I was pregnant. My husband's family was as equally mad as well. But I always say they are my Blessings from God no matter what!! Now we are here living in Hartselle,Alabama where I am my most happiest at but will soon be moving back around Birmingham,Alabama. Hope to be able to keep this blogging up and going so everyone who remembers me can catch up what has been going on.
